Creativity, Freedom & Our Parental Complexes

Trying to move freely is filled with obstacles, limitations and impositions. However, when it comes to the imagination and much of Jung's work on cultivating an inner life, an impaired outer freedom can be fertile ground for the creative impulse. This said, the freedom to create seems to be a minefield of complexes, especially, parental complexes. We will look at this particularity of the parental complexes and inquire how and why they seem to wait around the corner and get in the way when we are about to be creative or free.
